Alberta Angus Association :: Youth

Welcome to the YOUTH section of the Alberta Angus Association!  Our committee is dedicated to providing our youth in the agriculture industry with opportunities that will keep them in this industry.  We help fund activities that motivate the youth to participate and become involved!  The 4-H T-shirt program advertises ANGUS to a tune of over 1,250 members, the largest in Alberta!  The Alberta Junior Angus Association promotes the Angus breed by putting on the largest Provincial Breed Association Show in Canada every year in Olds and many of our current Alberta Angus Association members have come up through this junior Association.  The show educates youth and showcases the talents in various competitions that are very impressive.  We provide scholarships to our Angus youth to further their education.
