Dorothy Banks Memorial Scholiship Winner
Congratulations
to Michael Mohr, this years Dorothy Banks Memorial Scholarship Winner.
Michael writes... I've had the privilege of living on a ranch near
the small town of Consort, Alberta. We manage a herd of Red Angus-
Simmental cross cattle. I have been immersed in rural living, participating
in 4-H & volunteering my help
on surrounding ranches. My high school years revolved around
playing sports & holding positions on the Senior High Student's
Union, Yearbook & S.A.D.D. I am an active member in my community,
volunteering to help the Ag Society & various community fund
raisers.
I
enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, working with cattle & playing
all types of sports. My interest in designing & building
has spurred me to study Mechanical Engineering at the University
of Calgary. I am very grateful for winning this prestigious award,
which will assist me in covering next semester's tuition fees.
